Texworld is a biannual fair aimed exclusively at professionals in the textile and clothing sector. It has been pointed out as a sort of integral fair, since it covers all kinds of textile solutions: fashion and accessories, but also fabrics for home application such as upholstery, or curtains. As in immediate previous editions, an increase in the number of visitors is predicted, which in the editions of 2017 exceeded 15,000 participants. Messe Frankfurt is the organizer of this event, which promotes Paris as one of the reference centres of European textiles.
Of the total number of visitors, it is estimated that more than 80% come from outside France. Spaniards, British, Italians and Turks; but also Japanese, Germans and Americans. As can be seen in the social networks of the event, in addition to the exhibitors, the fair has an intense agenda of events: presentations, recognitions and conferences that provide with an intense glance on the latest trends in the textile sector. In the edition that ends today, initiatives aimed at sustainability and “green” trade have gained special relevance.
In this fair, visitors and exhibitors can establish business contacts, in addition to being in touch with the latest trends. Texworld has become a benchmark for the most important companies in the textile sector. In addition too, linked to the proper commercial experience, it is allowed to touch all the materials exhibited, which makes this event a great sensory experience. More than 25 countries are represented in one of the most important fairs in Europe.
